Why Sheboygan, WI?
In 2004, Sail Sheboygan was formed to promote national and international sailing competitions and education. From its first event, the 2005 Lightning North Americans, to the 2016 Blind Match Racing World Championship and Women's Match Racing World Championship events and the 2017 Blind Fleet Racing Championship, Sail Sheboygan with SEAS have hosted competitive sailors from all over the world. Sheboygan's location on the western shore of Lake Michigan, along with enviable tourism-geared hospitality business, make Sheboygan a perfect location from which to launch world-class sailing competitions.
Sheboygan is in great company for hosting the Para World Sailing Championship. Past events have been hosted in:
